I dunno how I never heard of this place before now because what manner of food? Loved the platter of Zhanga dirty Suya rice, dodo and smoked catfish. It was heavenly and the portions were so large we struggled to finish it.

The chef is awesome.. You hardly meet the same taste anytime you repeat a visit. Super healthy meals.. Update: his meals still remain super healthy & taste buds satisfying. Some new twists keep springing up & it's been awesome to taste them all

Chef Zhanga is going to hate this review, because he ensures his humbleness outshines his talent. I have eaten in quite a few places in Calabar, but I would eat here everyday just for the chance to spend time in the glory that is Zhanga. He (as a human) might be the only thing better than his food.

I had an amazing dining experience at Chef Zhanga Foods. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly hospitable. I ordered a dish made of well-dried fish, dried potatoes, and a lot more. The flavors were delightful, with fresh ingredients and perfect spices. The presentation honored our culinary heritage beautifully. For anyone craving authentic native cuisine, Chef Zhanga Foods is a must-visit. Five stars for an unforgettable meal!

This place looks deserted on the outside, but the food is great. I’m a fan of the noodles and beef sauce (I’m not sure that was the exact name 😂 ). If you’re looking for great food, look no further. But if you’re looking to create content, this place doesn’t have the right lighting for you.

All I can say is that I enjoyed everything: the food, the atmosphere and the customer service. Dorcas was particularly nice to us. It was a very good welcome into Calabar for us after a tiring day and flight. We decided to order different foods and try them out as a group instead of ordering individually. Everything was delicious. Their portions are quite large. I miss out photos of the corn soup and the chicken we had for starters, those were super.
